Welcome to my website! I am an applied microeconomist interested in examining factors that hinder economic development. The questions that motivate my current research include i) what is the effect of corruption on growth; ii) how do a country’s institutions and regulatory framework influence its international trade and foreign direct investment opportunities; and iii) what types of firms and industries are more prone to bribery?
